About the C&L:
C&L's complete air intake upgrade includes everything to replace the entire air intake assembly from the throttle body forward. This includes V6 specific C&L Trueflow air inlet tube with hoses/clamps/fittings, an upgrade 83mm CNC machined aluminum mass airflow housing, conical air filter assembly, filter shroud assembly, installation tool and instructions.
When installing this or ANY aftermarket air intake upgrade that replaces the factory air filter and meter assembly, you must make the necessary tuning adjustments to your computer. If not, your air/fuel ratio will run considerably leaner than stock and the vehicle will not operate properly, causing undesirable driving conditions.
About the SCT Xcal 3
Based off of SCT's premier LiveWire Tuner, the X3 takes the Xcalibrator to a whole new level with features such as enhanced data logging with 8 times the on-board memory (128MB Total!), an upgraded 4-line back-lit display, and the ability to hold not only custom tunes, but also dyno proven strategy tunes for your stock or mostly stock cars at the same time!
The Xcalibrator 3 features stand alone tune adjustments for tweaking both your custom tunes and the strategy tunes without the need for a computer or laptop. This is perfect for not only the knowledgeable owner to tweak their tune to track conditions, but also for the basic user to compensate for items such as gear and tire size changes.
