Major Fitment Issues |

Title says it all. "Y" pipe supplied and Driver's Over Axle Pipe were not formed correctly, thus it took us 5 hrs of final fitting time, alone, to get proper clearance on the body, gas tank and suspension. Had to cut 1.5" off the DS Side leg of the "Y", as the DS muffler would not fit under the car. Final install looks good, but my gawd what a hassle that should of not had to be from a "Kit" that was supposed to be built for the car. We used GT take off mufflers and also had to "tweak" the hanger tangs to get them to lay proper in the cutouts....this is due to the fact the over axle pipes were not formed correctly. Summery, I am glad its done, looks and sounds good...... and I would NEVER do it again, at least with this Kit.

Great duals conversion for the V6. People dog this set up because it's not true duals, but to my knowledge true duals isn't the best for stock sixers anyway. If you want a good duals set up with easy installation without cutting any stock pipes, definitely go with this! I installed my own laying in the garage...took about 3 hours, but that's cause I spent about 2 hours getting the old over-axle pipe off. I've had mine on for over a year now and they are still great!!!
