The Bassani X-pipe is a key component of the overall exhaust system that Bassani manufactures for the Mustang. Its job is to improve performance and to create an exhaust note that is unique to the Bassani X-pipe. Performance improvements are achieve by Bassani's unique X-crossover, which features smooth transitions for minimal flow interruption.

<b>Note:</b> Installation of this X-pipe on a 2005+ Mustang with an AUTO transmission requires one set of O2 Sensor Extensions. Manual transmission Mustangs do not require the extensions. Adding the extensions to the X-pipe is essentially the same as Bassani 46053+4604EK. See below.
